Defender in pvp

Hi all....

my defender in now lvl 28 so i decided to give pvp ago in blessain fortress but keep getting my ass wupped by the darkies. any tips to help rectify this problem and so i can get some darkie kills.

will be there on saturday for the guild ranking battle to help get some coins for the guild .

I found the same thing and it sucked muro said go straight REC and it was a little better that way but i had no hit power what so ever so i didnt like that either and the darkies could still beat my butt just took a little longer. Am trying a new build now of strength 1, REC 5, DEX 1, LUC 1, course i get 9 pts for the UM. If it doesnt work i will let you know that too and reset to all REC if i have too.

As I understand it, defenders are not the best choice when it comes to solo PvP because they hit like a tranquilized pacifist wearing cotton boxing gloves I think they are best to be utilised in parties as they can sustain a lot more damage.

Hopefully that will proved right as I created mine specifically for 16-30 guild ranking battle to help take some heat off the priests/mages etc.

So you may last longer than other classes when getting attacked but ultimately you wont put much of a dent in darkies and they will win in the end when one on one - at least in the pre 30 levels on HM mode that I have found so far.

I went with the full REC build too and solo PvE isn't much fun either due to the time it takes to defeat mobs. Will be interesting what triggs finds out with her build though.

Lmao. From what I've dueled with my defender. It just takes us a long time to kill and die. So the best reason why a defender is there is to be leader! let them Leader res! lmao. Debuffs as a HM is pretty good. Since we already have a high def/rec built. We should lapis in dex lapis to get our hit chance for our debuffs. We aren't made to kill. So a defender stinks in pvp 1-15. but as I grew my def. I find the debuffs works best when people are trying to run. or attacking you. =D So that's how I find it =)


Who knows. Maybe all rec is the BEST and the WORST in pvp. =)
